Jean-Noël Cognard, batteur et percussionniste, est un grand initiateur de projets et de rencontres dans le domaine de la musique improvisée. Avec son label Bloc Thyristors, il a réalisé ses rêves en invitant les musiciens qu’il admire (Keith Tippett, Jac Berrocal, Michel Pilz, Barry Guy, Paul Rogers, Marc Charig, Kasper T. Toeplitz, Conny et Johannes Bauer, Jean-François Pauvros, Titus Oppmann, Jérôme Noetinger entre autres) pour des projets d’albums uniques, et follement aventureux sur le plan sonore et graphique : de 2008 à 2021, il aura sorti en tout 15 albums, dont 3 coffrets. C’est cette aventure discographique que ce livre vous propose de (re) découvrir. Préface de Philippe Robert
